Part of the process I explore to get to my current style, was multiple study figures. In the studies, I started with what faithful sketch would look like, and then I proceeded to make small abstractions to the form, so it would resemble a more anime style. These are some Examples of Figure Studies.
As you can see, the abstractions were mostly exaggerations of movement and proportions. The result was something that I liked, a more dynamic and friendly sketch.
