For my first fan art in my style, I chose a Frieren Fan Art.
I love the series Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (Sōsō no Furīren). I loved the story, the pacing, the character designs, the animation. I especially loved Frieren and Übel and I plan to make a fan art of Übel too in the future.
What I loved about this character is the simplicity in which she perceives life and time. It helps that she can live a long long time, but I found truly peaceful and inspiring the combination of simple hope and indifference.
I think the capacity of seeing things as temporary as she does, can give you a very peaceful existence.
Style-wise, as you can see, the lines still present some defect I want to keep improving. I don’t think this style benefits from having a tapered line, and that’s one of the things I oversaw when doing this.
